Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A9 has been leaked yet again, this time courtesy of Antutu benchmark.
A Samsung Galaxy A9 prototype with the model number SM-A9000 recently made its way through Antutu, revealing some of its key specifications. Based on the information shown the on the Antutu benchmark screenshot, the Galaxy A9 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 620 quad-core chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM.
The benchmark screenshot also reveals a 5.5-inch 1080p display (most likely a Super AMOLED panel), 32GB of onboard storage, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
With the ARM Cortex-A72 based Snapdragon 620 chipset under its hood, the Galaxy A9 will no doubt be an impressive performer and shouldn’t have difficulty giving even flagship smartphones a run for their money in benchmark performance. If Samsung can price it right, the A9 could very well be a massive success for the company.
